A renovation and addition is underway at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell, Massachusetts to create a new 33-bed transitional care unit. The new space meets patients' needs for short-term rehabilitation and also includes four hospice suites. The $10.5 million project will also build a new kitchen to service the entire complex.

Landmark School is building a new gymnasium at its high school campus. The gym contains one championship court running the length of the building with bleacher seating for 400. Attached to the main building are a full-sized wrestling room and a fitness room. In addition the facility contains locker rooms, sports training and physical therapy room, equipment storage and offices along with large public bathrooms. The project will be complete in May of 2010.

Clark University Residence Hall Renovations

Two residence halls will be renovated Clark University. The work in the 1958-built freshmen residences, Wright and Bullock Halls, will create a contemporary identify for the facilities, both inside and out, updating the lighting and finishes to fashion a modern environment that will be comfortable and welcoming for today’s students. Additional common spaces will be added to improve community interaction. Accessibility will be improved by the addition of elevators. The project will be completed on a fast-tracked, 16-week summer construction schedule.

Mount Holyoke College Porter Hall

Porter Hall will be renovated at Mount Holyoke College. This is the sixth in a series fast-tracked summer residence hall updates that Cutler completed on the campus. Designed by Cutler Design, the project will update the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection infrastructure of the 1897-built building, increasing energy efficiency, providing life-safety updates, and adding comfort for students.

University of New Hampshire - Turbulence Research Facility

Cutler is designing and building a new Turbulence Research Facility at the University of New Hampshire. This is Cutler’s fourth major project on the Durham, New Hampshire campus. The 12,400-square-foot facility will include a 300-foot wind tunnel that will support state-of-the-art research by faculty and students. The $2 million project will be completed in the fall of 2010.

Tower Hill Botanic Garden

A spectacular Winter Garden and Limonaia is under construction at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts. 10,000 square feet of dramatic landscape entirely framed by the “Quad” of Tower Hill’s Education and Visitors Center will comprise the new garden. It is designed for viewing from the inside of the building looking out during the months of cold New England weather and conversely, will be a very welcoming garden during the growing season. The $6.5 million project will be completed in the fall of 2010.

Hillsborough Community College - Automotive Collision Repair Program

Hillsborough Community College is remodeling a recently acquired facility to house its Automotive Collision Repair Program. The goal of the project is to better house and accommodate the needs of this popular program as it expands and student enrollment increases. The $3.5 million renovation will be completed on a six-month construction schedule and will open in the Fall of 2010.

Cutler is completing a multi-phased expansion and renovation at Pasco Middle School in Dade City, Florida. A 16-classroom addition recently opened as renovations to the cafeteria were completed and a new MDF was built to house network equipment and replaced fiber optics throughout the campus. Over the next year a new administration building will be built and additional updates will add a new courtyard.

School Board of Pasco County - Pasco High School

A four-phased addition and renovation is underway at Pasco High School in Dade City, Florida. The $13 million project will renovate the campus entrance, build a new two-story classroom building, and update and expand the health services building and additional classroom and administration areas. The effort is carefully sequenced to minimize disruption to the occupied campus and will continue over the next year.

The School District of Polk County is renovating and expanding its Boone Middle School in Haines City, Florida. During this phase of construction, three new buildings will be added to the campus, which will include the cafeteria, gymnasium, and administration offices. The project will also relocate the bus ramp and create new athletic fields. The $13.2 million, 58,266-square-foot project is scheduled for completion in December of 2010.

Hillsborough Community College Student Services Center

Cutler Associates was selected to serve as construction manager for Hillsborough Community College’s new Student Services Center to be located on the Ybor City Campus. The $14.3 million student center will house Student Services Offices as well as Student Guidance and Counseling Offices and related spaces. Targeted for completion in the Summer 2010, the project will incorporate FGBC and LEED standards into the design and construction.

School District of Pasco County - Fivay High School

Cutler has been hired by the Pasco County School District to provide construction for the new Fivay High School – the first high school in the county to be designed to USGBC LEED™ standards. Construction of the $48 million project is underway and is expected to be completed this summer. Since 1998, Cutler has built four new schools and renovated 13 existing buildings within the district.
